Nach dem erfolgreichen Global AI Bootcamp 2019 Karlsruhe Event organisieren wir am Freitag, den 15.01.2021, von 10 bis 18 Uhr organisierten wir das nächste Event „Microsoft AI“

Global AI Bootcamp 2021 Karlsruhe (Germany)

Das Global AI Bootcamp ist eine kostenlose eintägige Veranstaltung, die weltweit von lokalen Communities organisiert wird, die sich für künstliche Intelligenz in Microsoft Azure begeistern.

Die Veranstaltung ist eine perfekte Mischung aus qualitativ hochwertigen Inhalten, tollen Vorträgen und praxisorientiertem Lernen mit Gleichgesinnten in Ihrer Community. In diesem Jahr hatten wir als Sprecher fünf Microsoft MVPs und eine Microsoft Mitarbeiterin:

Den Anfang machte Raphael Köllner, Executive Consultant @ BDO Digital GmbH, Microsoft Regional Director, MVP Office Apps and Services, Windows Insider MVP, mit einem Vortrag zu m Thema "AI - eine rechtliche Betrachtung im Microsoft Universum".

Abstrakt: Die IT Giganten Microsoft, Google, Amazon und auch Alibaba bauen ihre AI-Plattformen weiter aus. Dies führt dazu, dass künstliche Intelligenz auch in immer mehr Standardprodukte Einzug findet, sei es durch automatische Übersetzung oder bei der Analyse der täglichen Arbeit. In dieser Session betrachten wir die rechtliche und ethische Seite der künstlichen Intelligenz im Microsoft Universum auch unter Bezugnahme neuster Urteile und Guidelines der EU Kommission, sowie der Bundesregierung. Wir klären in wieweit und mit welchem Risiko AI den Einsatz in unsere Arbeitswelt finden kann und wo noch Diskussionsbedarf besteht.

Christian Waha, Technical Fellow @ti&m AG, Microsoft MVP, Microsoft Insider MVP, hat einen Vortrag zum Thema "Sicherheit in der Public Cloud" gehalten.

Abstrakt: In diesem Vortrag rede ich über die Erreichung von Sicherheit in der Cloud, sowohl AI als auch andere Service werden hier beleuchtet. Sicherheit in der Cloud ist eine Sammlung von verschiedenen Stufen der Verteidigung.

Alexander Wachtel, ESC Deutschland GmbH, Microsoft AI MVP & MCT, hielt einen Vortrag "Eine Einführung in AI Builder".

Abstrakt: AI Builder ist eine Komponente der Power Platform und bietet die Möglichkeit durch wenige Klicks ein KI Modell aufzubauen. So können die Aufgaben, wie Vorhersagen, Formularverarbeitung, Objekterkennung, Kategorieklassifizierung und Entitätsextraktion, mithilfe von KI-Modellen und einer intuitive Oberfläche vereinfacht werden.

Nach dem Mittagessen wurde die Agenda international. Zunächst hat Bruno Capuano, Regional Innovation Lead @Avanade Canada, Microsoft AI MVP, eine Keynote mit dem Titel "Let’s code a drone to follow faces syncing everything with Azure IoT" gehalten.

Abstrakt: You can control a drone using 20 lines of code. That’s the easy part. However, adding extra features like face or object detection and program the drone to follow and object or a face requires … another 20 lines of code!
During this workshop we will review how to connect to a drone, how to send and receive commands from the drone, how to read the camera video feed and how to apply AI on top of the camera feed to recognize objects or faces. We will use a simple house drone ($100) and Python. And, when we review some enterprise scenarios, we will use Azure IoT to sync the drone information in IoT mode. Let’s build this!

Eldert Grootenboer, Cloud Solution Architect, Azure MVP, hat einen Vortrag "Building Smarter Solutions Using Azure And Cognitive Services" gehalten.

Abstrakt: There's a lot of discussion going on around Artificial Intelligence, and for good reason. AI and Cognitive Services are getting more powerful all the time, and it can be confronting to see all these developments. But how can we leverage this power in our own solutions, using it for making the life of our users and customers easier? In this session, you will see learn we can get data from the real world, and use this to drive our business, and all this in a serverless manner. Thanks to Microsoft Cognitive Services it's easy to integrate and work with speech, text, images and videos into our processes. Come and learn how to use this to your own advantage, driving your business forward.

Nicht zuletzt hatte Shané Winner, Program Manager Azure Machine Learning @ Microsoft, über das Thema "Azure Machine Learning Experimentation User Interface" eine Endnote gehalten.

Abstract: The Experiments UI in the Azure Machine Learning Studio enables users to inspect, analyze and troubleshoot their runs in the Azure ML workspace. With the new Cross-Experiment Run Comparison, Data Scientists can analyze their runs by graphically comparing and visualizing runs on the charts across some or all their experiments in a workspace. Users can also monitor their run progress, status and compare run performance which are essential tasks for both administrators and data scientists performing machine learning tasks. The new Custom Views allow users to customize their run analysis views and more effectively organize and keep track of their runs. The simplicity of sharing Custom Views allows for enhanced collaboration across colleagues and data scientist teams.
